FAQs

Grace's Place

  • What age groups does Grace's Place serve?

We provide care for children of all ages, from infants through school-age children. Our services include specialized newborn care, comprehensive preschool programs, and pre-kindergarten preparation classes. For school-aged children, we offer convenient before and after school care with transportation services, plus an exciting Summer Camp program that keeps kids engaged when school's out.
  • What makes Grace's Place different from other child care centers?

Since our founding in 1995 by Margaret, a devoted mother of four with a passion for childcare, Grace's Place has remained family-owned and operated. We've built our reputation on core values of care, education, and community connection. Children in our center develop emotionally, socially, and academically in a secure, nurturing environment—and we've managed to maintain affordability without compromising on the quality of care we provide.
  • What curriculum is used at Grace's Place?

Our curriculum aligns with Illinois state standards for each developmental stage. We've created a well-rounded educational approach that incorporates social-emotional learning, engaging STEM activities, interactive sensory play, creative arts, language development, and fine motor skill practice. This comprehensive program supports your child's growth at every developmental milestone.
  • Do you accept child care assistance, and are there additional costs?

We gladly accept families utilizing child care assistance programs and don't require any additional co-payments. It's part of our commitment to making exceptional childcare accessible for all families throughout our Central Illinois community.
