Nurturing Young Minds With Purpose

At Grace's Place, we've developed a comprehensive curriculum that ignites curiosity and supports development in children across all age groups. We balance structured learning with creative play, giving your child educational experiences that build a strong foundation for academic success. Our team brings 30 years of childcare experience and understands that children develop individually, each with their own interests and pace. This insight shapes our adaptable, enriching programs that meet specific needs while upholding strong educational standards. Our bilingual staff connects with children in both English and Spanish, creating a welcoming space where every child feels important and heard.

Every staff member maintains current CPR and First Aid certifications, and our Gateway certification demonstrates our commitment to excellence in early childhood education. For our youngest children, we use the specialized Frogstreet curriculum for infants through two-year-olds, while our preschool and Pre-K children learn through our P.R.E. Curriculum designed specifically for kindergarten preparation. With several convenient locations across Central Illinois and enrollment possible within one week after your tour (when space allows), we make quality childcare both accessible and simple. Curious about how our curriculum can support your child's growth? We invite you to visit us and ask questions—please contact us today to learn more!

Arts And Crafts

Our arts and crafts program sparks creative expression while developing fine motor skills. Children work with diverse materials and techniques, exploring painting, drawing, collage-making, and sculpture. This hands-on approach helps them discover artistic abilities while learning about colors, shapes, and textures.

Daycare Daily Routine

Our carefully designed daily schedule offers children the security of consistency with room for spontaneous learning. Each day includes educational activities, creative play, nutritious meals, outdoor time, and rest periods, creating a balanced rhythm that supports healthy development and builds a sense of security.

Daycare Learning Activities

Our learning activities match each age group and stimulate cognitive growth across multiple areas. From sensory exploration for infants to pre-reading exercises for preschoolers, each activity has clear educational goals while remaining fun and engaging, keeping children enthusiastic about learning.

Daycare Nutrition and Meals

We provide balanced, nutritious meals and snacks that support growing bodies and developing minds. Our menus follow dietary guidelines for children while introducing varied foods to expand their tastes. We accommodate special dietary needs and allergies to ensure proper nutrition for every child.

Educational Philosophy

Our educational philosophy builds on the understanding that children learn best through both guided instruction and self-discovery. We take a whole-child approach that values emotional and social growth alongside academic skills, creating spaces where curiosity thrives and children learn from both successes and challenges.

Field Trips

Field trips expand learning beyond our classrooms, connecting concepts to real-world experiences. Our carefully selected visits to local museums, parks, and community resources enhance our curriculum and inspire children's curiosity about their world, always conducted with thorough safety measures and supervision.

Holiday Themed Events

Our holiday-themed events showcase cultural diversity and create lasting memories throughout the year. Children explore different traditions through age-appropriate activities, crafts, and celebrations that bring joy while building understanding and respect for various cultures.

Hygiene Program

Our hygiene program teaches children essential self-care skills in a clean, healthy environment. Daily routines include regular handwashing, personal care practices, and age-appropriate lessons about health, helping children develop habits that support lifelong wellness.

Literacy Development

Our literacy-rich setting surrounds children with language opportunities throughout each day. From comfortable reading corners filled with quality books to daily read-alouds, letter activities, and storytelling, we build core skills that create a love for reading and prepare children for school success.

Nap And Rest Program

Our nap and rest program recognizes how important sleep is for child development and learning ability. We create calm spaces with comfortable sleeping arrangements, soft music, and gentle routines that help children relax and recharge, while respecting individual sleep needs and comfort items from home.

Outdoor Play and Facilities

Our carefully designed outdoor areas provide safe, engaging spaces for exploration and activity. Children enjoy age-appropriate playground equipment, gardening spaces, and nature-based learning zones that support physical development, scientific discovery, and appreciation for nature in all seasons.

Physical Activity And Play

Daily physical activity forms a key part of our program, supporting healthy development and energy management. Through organized games, dance, sports skills, and free play, children build coordination, strength, and confidence while learning to value active lifestyles.
